Email or Call Governor Charlie Crist, Urge Him to Veto Anti-Consumer Measure - HB 1171

Please urge Governor Crist to veto the Residential Property Insurance bill (HB 1171). This bill is disguised as "consumer friendly" when it will allow a handful of large insurers to raise rates unchecked. This measure would also allow these major companies to cherry pick the market by pricing their way out of areas they don't want to serve leaving consumers unprotected and their homes vulnerable during hurricane season. What homeowners really need is a competitive process with consumer choice in mind. Governor Crist has always stood up for the consumer; tell him you need him now more than ever.

Email Governor Crist by filling out the form below, or call the Governor's Office of Citizen Services: (850) 488.4441 or (850) 488.7146.
